Hot and sunny again in southern Europe, cold and unsettled Scandinavia

Thursday
Lots of sunshine across Spain and Portugal on Thursday. There is a risk of a thunderstorm affecting northeastern Spain later. Mallorca and Menorca as well as Ibiza should be staying dry with more sunshine. Corsica and Sardinia stay fine and sunny. Scattered showers in central and southern Italy, otherwise it is dry and sunny here. Greece and Turkey will be hit and sunny again.
France should have a fine day with lots of sunshine. The Low Countries has a day of broken cloud but should be dry. Some rain in the far north of Germany and Poland but fair elsewhere in these countries. Hungary should be dry but some showers may affect Austria and Switzerland.
Cool in Denmark with some sunny spells and an odd shower. More persistent rain and showers affecting the Baltic States. Finland will be cold and windy with frequent heavy showers. Some sunshine for much of Sweden although some showers affect the south. Rain in northern and western Norway, cold and windy here too. Drier to the south.

Friday
Lots of sunshine to come across Spain and Portugal. The western Mediterranean stays fine as well with more hot sunshine. Heavy thunderstorms are likely to develop in central parts of Italy, but for most coastal areas it should be dry with plenty of sunshine. A scattering of showers in northern Greece but generally fair. Turkey will be hot and sunny.
Sunny across France and dry too. I said day for the low countries. Some rain in northern Germany and across central Poland. Fair for central and southern Germany as well southern Poland. Hungary will be dry but there will be some showers in western Austria and a few heavy showers developing across Switzerland too.
Some clouds and showers affecting Denmark. The showers will also spread to the far south of Sweden and the Baltic state. Breezy and cold in Finland with a scattering of showers but some sunny spells. Cold to across northern western Norway with frequent heavy showers here, although dry and sunny in the far south of Norway.
