Outbreaks of thunderstorms centred over the Alps and central Mediterranean
Showers, some of them heavy and thundery, over Spain on Friday but elsewhere across Iberia it stays dry, sunny and warm. Thundery showers too for Corsica, Sardinia and Italy. These heaviest along the southwestern coast. Mostly dry, bright and very warm for the Balkans, Greece and western Turkey. Thundery showers over eastern Turkey.
Mostly dry and fair for France and the Low Countries though some thunderstorms could develop once more to the southeast of France and over the Alps. Isolated showers, sometimes thundery, for southern Germany, southern and western Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria and Slovakia. Elsewhere should stay dry with good spells of sunshine.
A cloudier day with isolated showers for Denmark, Sweden, Finland and the Baltic States. Some of these will be heavier further east. A cloudier day too for Norway too with rain affecting western coasts, this heavy to the southwest.
Showers once more affecting eastern parts of Spain on Saturday. Dry and bright to the east and for Portugal and the Balearics. Heavy, thundery showers for Corsica and Sardinia, these spreading to Italy through the afternoon. Dry, sunny and very warm for the Balkans, Greece and Turkey.
A mostly dry and fair day for much of western and central Europe on Saturday. Heavy, thundery showers for the Alps, southeastern France, Switzerland, western Austria, southern Germany and southwestern Poland.
A mixture of broken cloud and sunny spells for Finland and the Baltic States on Saturday. Scattered showers for Denmark moving into southern Sweden later. A mostly dry day for much of Sweden with showers to the far north at times. Outbreaks of rain persist for southwestern Norway and western coastal regions of the country.
