Unsettled conditions for northern & central Europe with outbreaks of thunderstorms
Further showers affecting far northern and eastern parts of Spain on Sunday but dry and fair elsewhere across Iberia. Feeling fresher too for much of Spain and Portugal. Continuing very warm, dry and bright for Corsica, Sardinia, much of Italy, the Balkans, Greece and Turkey. Further showers over the Italian Alps and for far northeastern parts of Turkey.
Fresh winds and outbreaks of showery rain continue for northern France and the Low Countries. Heavy, thundery downpours possible over central and southern France. A mostly dry and fair day for Germany though thundery showers could edge into southwestern areas later. Thundery showers affecting Switzerland too while Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia should see a mostly dry and fine day.
Showers and fresh winds affecting Denmark on Sunday while outbreaks of rain clear to the north from the Baltic States leaving a dry and bright evening. Outbreaks of rain spread north across Norway, Sweden and Finland. Brightening from the south later but staying rather breezy.
Temperatures continue to freshen over Portugal and Spain as a cold front slips to the southeast. Showers over northern and southeastern parts of Spain at times. Cloudy for the Balearics but staying dry here. Dry, bright and very warm conditions continue for much of Italy (with the exception of the Alps where there could be some showers), the Balkans, Greece and Turkey.
A showery day for much of France though the far southwest should stay dry and bright. Thundery showers affecting the southeast. Showers spreading from the Low Countries into northwest Germany through the day. Thundery downpours affecting southeastern parts of Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic and Poland.
Sunny spells and scattered showers for Denmark and southern parts of Sweden and Finland on Monday. Cloudy with light scattered showers across the Baltic States while much of Norway, central and northern Sweden and central Finland could see heavier rain and thunderstorms at times.
