Mild, spring sunshine central Europe
Prolonged heavy rain for central and eastern Spain. Portugal should be fair with sunny spells, staying dry. Rain in the Balearics, also southwest France. Corsica and Sardinia as well as Italy should be dry with sunny spells after morning mist clears. Greece will be dry with sunny spells, although some rain in the south. Windy in Turkey with rain in eastern areas.
Much of France will be dry with sunny spells and isolated showers in the west. The Low Countries should be bright with some sunshine. Northern Germany is likely to be dry too, but cloud and some drizzle in central areas. Poland largely dry. Fair and sunny in Hungary, Austria and Switzerland.
Denmark will have a bright day with sunny spells. Some cloud and rain trouble the Baltic States, with heavier rain in Finland. Sweden should be dry with some spells of sunshine. Fair too in Norway, although some rain to the north.
Staying wet across the south and east of Spain, with easterly winds. Some rain too in southern Portugal, although the northwest of Iberia should be dry. A little showery rain for the western Mediterranean islands.
High pressure extends across central Europe with dry weather and spring sunshine for many places. A weak front over central Germany and Belgium brings cloudier skies and a few spots of rain. Light winds and some morning mist patches around the Alps. Generally dry for France. Patchy rain around the south coast. Blustery winds for the Greek Islands, with rain affecting Cyprus.
Southwesterly winds affect Scandinavia, with cloud and persistent rain for western Norway. Patchy rain extends east across Sweden and Finland, although much of the Baltic stays dry. Occasional drizzly rain for Denmark, but amounts small.
