Heating up again across northern Europe by midweek
Mostly dry in Portugal and Spain with good spells of sunshine, although isolated thunderstorms may affect eastern areas later. Fine through the Balearics as well as Corsica and Sardinia. Italy should be fair with plenty of sunshine. Greece will be dry and sunny as will be Turkey.
France should have a fine day, again with lots of sunshine. Some showers in the Low Countries and southern Germany. Poland will be dry with sunny spells. Fine for Hungary but some showers in Austria and Switzerland.
Sunny and dry in Denmark. A fair day across the Baltic States. Scattered showers for Finland. Further showers in central and northern Sweden but fine to the south. Mixed in Sweden with some heavy showers to the north.
A cloudy and drizzly start along some western coasts of Portugal, otherwise dry and fine. Largely dry again across Spain though thunderstorms associated with heavy rain will develop through the day in the northeast. Dry and fine elsewhere across the Mediterranean.
The odd local shower along the southwest coast in France, otherwise dry and fine with plenty of sunshine. Dry and fine as well as feeling very warm and or hot for most across northern and central parts of Europe, though a few scattered showers could develop in the Alpine region.
Outbreaks of rain pushing northwards across Norway and Sweden though many northern and eastern regions across Sweden will be dry and fine. Dry yet breezy across Finland. Some rain clearing eastwards across Denmark with drier, brighter and warmer weather behind. The Baltic States also looking dry and fine with sunny spells and the temperatures creeping into the mid 20s here.
