Rain and wind across northern and western Europe, sunshine and fair weather to the south and east
A broad south to south-westerly airflow across Europe continues to bring very mild conditions to much of the continent. Some rain may move into north-western Iberia, but much of Spain and Portugal stay dry and warm, 22 to 24C in the south. Continued fair weather across the Mediterranean, with light winds - local fog patches possible. Warm sunshine for Greece , Cyprus and much of Turkey. Fairly cloudy but dry across eastern Europe.
Dry and mild for central European countries, widely 12 to 16C, or locally nearer 20C in south-west France. Local bursts of rain may affect northern France and the Low Countries. Much of Germany should be dry but windy. Strong to gale force winds around the Baltic. Heavy rain for south-west Norway. A zone of heavy rain and snow advances north across Scandinavia.
Cloud and rain in northern and western parts of Spain and Portugal. Plenty of sunshine in the Balearics and dry too. More dry weather and sunshine affecting Italy with the risk of some morning fog. Greece and Turkey will be dry with further sunshine too.
Heavy periods of rain may affect northern and western France. This heavy rain troubling the Low Countries and northern Germany and perhaps the north of Poland too. More southern areas of Poland and Germany as well as Switzerland, Austria and Hungary should be dry with good spells of sunshine here.
Breezy with rain clearing to showers in Denmark. The risk of some heavy rain in southern Sweden but drier and brighter to the north. Cloud and some outbreaks of rain in the Baltic States. Scattered showers in Finland. Norway will be windy with showers to the north and west, these falling as snow over the hills.
