A few showers for northern Spain, but southern Spain and Portugal will be dry, sunny and warm, highs 24C. Fair weather for southern Italy, Greece and areas toward the Black Sea, highs 20 to 23C. A long frontal zone brings unsettled conditions to central Europe. Heavy rain and mountain snow affects Alpine regions, including northern Italy. Rain also extends across the Czech Republic, southern Poland and Belarus. Cool and showery for France, the Low Countries and northern Germany - possible hail and thunder, but also sunny spells. A waving frontal system extends from southern Iberia across central-southern Europe into eastern countries. Showery rain for southern Spain, perhaps Portugal, although northern Iberia should be dry, but breezy and cool. Low pressure over northern Italy brings persistent rain, which also affects the northern Balkans. Snow for the Alps. Staying warm and dry for Greece and areas around the Black Sea. A band of rain for the border regions of Poland and Ukraine. Generally very warm across south-western Europe, climbing to 25C. Cool across north-western Europe, just 10 to 12C for northern France, the Low Countries and Germany, with scattered showers.
