Rain in the central and western Mediterranean, fair for Scandinavia

Tuesday
Fronts move in from the Atlantic into Portugal, bringing heavy rain, which encroaches into western Spain later. Staying dry for central and eastern Spain, and fairly warm in the east. Areas of heavy and thundery rain affect southern France and northern Italy.
Some snow for the southern Alps. High pressure centred across eastern Europe and Scandinavia brings plenty of dry weather from Greece to the Baltic. Rather cloudy around the Black Sea with a risk of drizzly rain into Romania and Bulgaria. Strong south-easterly winds for Hungary, the Czech Republic and Poland, also southern Scandinavia.
Generally dry with variable cloud for northern France, the Low Countries and Germany. Hard frost in central Norway and Sweden. A few snow flurries in the far north.

Wednesday
An unsettled day in Spain and Portugal. Rain affects many central and northern areas, some of this heavy. Patchy rain to the east and south and feeling cool. Unsettled in the Balearics too with some outbreaks of rain here. Low pressure brings rain, some heavy to central and southern Italy. Rain in western Greece but better to the east. Turkey should be dry and sunny.
Rain and cloud afecting the west of France on Wednesday. The Low Countries and much of western Germany should be dry with sunny spells although rain in eastern Germany. Poland will have rain in the west but the east should be dry and mild. Rain too in Hungary and eastern Austria, but fair to the west and in Switzerland.
Denmark and southern Norway will be breezy with cloud and some outbreaks of rain here. Fair in the baltic States and Finland as well as Sweden. A fair day to come in central and northern Norway.
