Heavy showers in nwest and cold, drier in the east


Wednesday
Rain and showers in northern Sain. Fair for most of Spain and Portugal with sunny spells. Cool with sunny spells and isolated showers for the Balearics. Heavy showers and a risk of thunderstorms in Corsica and Sardinia. Italy will have rain or showers, some heavy. Greece and Turkey should be dry with decent spells of sunshine.
Showers over much of France, but some more persistent rain into northwest France later. Sunny spells and isolated showers for the Low Countries. Showers in Germany as well as Poland. Hungary should be dry with sunny spells, but some showers for Austria and Switzerland.
Sunny spells and col in Denmark. Showers or longer spells of rain in the Baltic States, but cold and breezy in Finland. Chilly with some bright spells in Sweden. Cool for Norway with sunny spells and mostly dry weather.

Thursday
Rain affecting northern Spain on Thursday, some of it heavy. Central and southern Spain should be dry with sunny spells, although sopme showers may affect far southern coasts and hills. Showers in the Balearics with further showers in Corsica and Sardinia. Heavy showers, some thundery for southern Italy and Sicily. Showers too for western Greece but dry for most. Turkey shoud be dry with good spells of sunshine.
Rain and wind for the west of France, few showers in the east. Some heavy periods of rain in the Low Countries, these also affecting the far west of Germany. eastern Germany should be dry with sunny spells although Poland will too be dry. Some showers for Jungary but dry in Austria. Rain in western Switzerland.
Denmark will have sunny spells and scatered showers. These scattered showers affecting the Baltic States too. Finland will be chilly and dry. A few showers in eastern Sweden but dry elsewhere. Mostly dry and chilly in Norway.
