Turning wet northern France and Low Countries by Tuesday

Monday
A dry day for most of Spain, as high pressure builds from the west across Iberia. Warmest temperatures in southern Portugal, up to 19C. Locally warm too in the south-east of Spain. Showers affect southern France and the Pyrenees. Low pressure centred over southern Italy produces slow-moving thundery showers. Clusters of showers spread across the Balkans toward the Black Sea. Snow in the mountains of Romania.
A weak front across northern-central Europe produces a fair amount of cloud, and local spots of rain, but amounting to very little for most places. Temperatures 10 to 14C for northern France, the Low Countries and Germany. High pressure builds across Scandinavia, and cold northerly winds sweep across the Baltic. Staying near or below freezing for Finland. Patchy snow or rain for southern Norway and Sweden. Snow showers for the far north.

Tuesday
Rain spreads from the west across northern France in the early hours, advancing south & east through the daytime into the Low Countries, western Germany and the western Alps, giving snow over the mountains. High pressure across Iberia brings warm sunshine to Spain and Portugal, reaching 18 to 23C. Spring warmth too for the French Riviera and northern Italy, 15 to 18C.
Showers for the far south of Italy, the southern Balkans, Bulgaria and Greece , some heavy and thundery downpours breaking out. Remnants of fronts produce cloudy skies and spots of rain locally for Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. High pressure over Scandinavia gives plenty of dry but chilly weather. A little rain possible for southern areas of Norway and Sweden. The far north will see snow showers.
