Heavy rain develops across France then on towards the Low Countries and Germany
North Spain and north Portugal looking more unsettled today with heavy showers developing here for a time while feeling cooler than of late. Largely dry, fine and still hot elsewhere. Staying dry, sunny and hot across the Balearics as well as much of Italy. Developing showers through mainland Greece pushing on to the islands. Western Turkey largely dry but showers in the east.
Thundery showers developing across much of France helping temperatures cool off somewhat here. Northern regions staying largely dry. The Low Countries and most of Germany will remain dry, fine and warm. Weather improves across Poland. Thundery, heavy showers developing across Switzerland and Austria. Some scattered showers for the Balkans but plenty of dry regions here too.
Possible light rain across parts of Denmark as well as some of the Baltic states in the morning but a drier afternoon. Rain moving in to southwest Norway with some scattered showers elsewhere but plenty of dry areas too. Largely dry with sunny spells across Sweden and Finland.
Most places dry, fine and again hot through Spain and Portugal, though more cloud is expected in the far north with some showery rain moving in at times. It continues to remain dry and hot across the Balearics as well as Italy and the surrounding islands. Largely dry and sunny through Greece and Turkey though some showers are likely to develop across Greece, becoming heavy in the afternoon.
Thundery, heavy rain affecting much of France in the morning largely clears northwards to affect the Low Countries, Germany, Switzerland and much of Austria in the afternoon. Much of eastern Europe should remain dry, fine and very warm.
Much of Scandinavia is to stay dry, though more cloud and some rain to affect southern parts of Norway. Cloud will thicken across Denmark in advance of heavy rain pushing in here overnight.
