Showery rain, heavy in places, and cooler temperatures spreads across northern Europe.
Most places dry, fine and again hot through Spain and Portugal, though more cloud is expected in the far north with some showery rain moving in at times making it feel comparatively cooler. It continues to remain dry and hot across the Balearics as well as Italy and the surrounding islands. Largely dry and sunny through Greece and Turkey though some showers are likely to develop across Greece, becoming heavy in the afternoon.
Thundery, heavy rain affecting much of France in the morning largely clears northwards to affect the Low Countries, Germany, Switzerland and much of Austria in the afternoon. Much of eastern Europe should remain dry, fine and very warm.
Much of Scandinavia is to stay dry, though more cloud and some rain to affect southern parts of Norway. Cloud will thicken across Denmark in advance of heavy rain pushing in here overnight.
A cooler day still across northern into central parts of Spain and Portugal as cloud and showery rain move in. Drier further south. Warm across the Balearics and dry for most of the day though with the risk of thundery showers later. Showers could affect Corsica while Sardinia, Sicily and much of Italy looks to remain dry though heavy showwrs expected in the far north. Mainly dry and very warm across Greece and Turkey.
Cloudy and cooler with showery rain across France, the Low Countries and many regions of Germany. Thundery, heavy showers affect Switzerland. Scattered showers across Austria. Sunny spells and scattered showers across east Europe, though largely dry through the Balkans.
Unsettled across southern regions of Norway and Sweden with outbreaks of heavy rain. Drier though windy further north. Largely dry with sunny spells across Finland. Some rain pushing northwards through the Baltic States. A wet morning for Denmark then becoming drier.
