Dry across central Europe, also much of Iberia


Saturday
Low pressure over the western Mediterranean brings thundery downpours to Corsica, Sardinia and Siciliy. Showers possible for the Balearics too. A few showers for western Italy, but northern Italy and the Adriatic will stay dry with sunshine. Dry across Spain and Portugal, 23C in southwestern Iberia.
High pressure resides over central-northern Europe. Plenty of dry weather for France, the Low Countries and Germany, some early fog. Daytime temperatures 11 to 14C.
Some rain spreads across the Czech Republic and Poland, then into Belarus. Very warm in south-east Europe, 22 to 25C for Hungary, Romania and the Balkans. Also staying warm for Greece. Dry for much of Scandinavia as pressure builds. Cool with scattered showers for Finland. Milder with brisk southerly winds for Norway, becoming increasingly wet in the far west.


Sunday
Fronts move into north-western Iberia, bringing wet and cool conditions around Cape Finisterre, but much of Spain and Portugal will stay dry, 22C in the south. Low pressure resides over the central Med, with thundery rain for the islands and the south of Italy. Meanwhile, much of France, northern Italy and the Alps will be dry. Some rain affects Brittany.
High pressure over eastern Europe brings extensive dry weather. Some early fog. Temperatures ranging from 15C in Germany to 23C in Hungary and Romania. Warm sunshine for Greece , particularly in western areas, up to 25C. A risk of showers for Cyprus.
Southerly winds for Scandinavia, relatively mild at 8 to 11C. Dry around the Baltic, whilst rain affects the west of Norway.
