Showery eastern Europe


Saturday
Thunderstorms will break out increasingly through the day for central and eastern Spain, with scattered showers across the north. South-west Spain and Portugal stay dry, highs 30C. Also reaching 30C in south-west France, nearer 20C in northern France and the Low Countries with plenty of dry weather across central Europe.
Brisk southwesterly winds for North Sea coasts. Some rain for Denmark, and heavier rain pushes north across southern Norway and Sweden. Some rain for southern Finland too, but northern Scandinavia will be dry, 13 to 17C.
A cold front moves east across Poland, bringing some bursts of rain. Areas of showery rain for Ukraine and northern Romania. Dry for Hungary, highs 28C. Scattered thundery showers developing over the Balkan states and mainland Greece , also southern-central Italy.


Sunday
Thundery again for eastern Spain, plus a few showers toward the north, but staying dry and warm for western Spain and Portugal. Lots of dry weather for France, the Low Countries and Germany. Temperatures around 30C for central & southern France. Around 20 to 23C for Belgium and Germany. Local showers developing over the Alps. Isolated showers for southern Italy, otherwise it stays hot and dry. Warm sunshine for Greece, Hungary and the Balkans.
Showery across eastern Europe, focused toward the east of Poland, the Baltic states and Ukraine. South to southwesterly winds for Scandinavia bring rain to southern Norway, spreading into Sweden. Largely dry toward the far north.
