A wet and sometimes thundery weekend for parts of central Europe
A few showers for southern and eastern parts of Spain and the Balearic Islands on Saturday. Staying dry and bright across the rest of Spain and for Portugal. Showers continue for Italy - these focussed along the Adriatic coast. Thunderstorms continue for the Balkans and northern Greece while southern parts of Turkey could see the odd isolated shower.
Showery outbreaks of rain for eastern France, the Low Countries and Germany. These could be heavy in places. Dry and bright for western and central France. Bright with the odd shower over Switzerland. Cloudier for Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland with frequent, sometimes thundery, showers.
An area of low pressure brings unsettled conditions with frequent outbreaks of rain to Denmark, Sweden and southern and western parts of Finland. Mostly dry and bright for Norway with just the odd shower to the south. Starting bright for the Balkans but cloud builds from the west bringing showers later.
Showers continue over southern parts of Spain where it may also be rather cloudy. Cloudy too for the Balearic Islands but staying dry here. Dry and bright for northern parts of Spain and Portugal. Thundery showers for northern parts of Italy and the Balkans. Drier and bright to the south and for much of Greece and Turkey.
Mostly dry and bright too for France with a few showers over eastern areas. Showery outbreaks of rain affecting the Low Countries and much of Germany too on Sunday. Heavier, often thundery, showers for Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.
Heavy, thundery showers affect the Baltic States on Sunday. Denmark and southern Sweden see a mixture of broken cloud, scattered showers and sunny spells. A mostly dry and bright day for Norway while Finland will see a damp and cloudy day.
