An area of low pressure brings unsettled conditions to northern and central Europe with heavy rain particularly affecting eastern Europe and northern Scandinavia.

Tuesday
Dry, sunny and very warm conditions are forecast for much of southern Europe on Tuesday with settled, fine weather for Portugal, Spain, the Balearic Islands, Italy, the Balkans, Greece and Turkey. There is the risk, however, of some showers developing over northern Spain and Italy as well as northeastern Greece.
A cloudy day with patchy outbreaks of rain for northern France, the Low Countries and northwestern Germany. Staying dry and fine for southern parts of France and Germany as well as for Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and southern Poland. Cloudier with isolated showers for northern Poland, Austria and Hungary with the chance of some isolated showers across Croatia.
Low pressure centred over Scandinavia brings mixed, unsettled conditions to Norway, Sweden, Finland, the Baltic States and Denmark. A wet and windy day for Denmark and southern parts of Norway and Sweden while a band of heavy and persistent rain affects eastern portions of Finland and the Baltic States.

Wednesday
Another largely dry and sunny day across the Mediterranean on Wednesday and feeling very warm with fine weather affecting Portugal, much of Spain, the Balearic Islands, most of Italy, the Balkans and Turkey. Possible patchy light rain still over northeastern Spain and the risk of isolated showers developing along the eastern Italian coasts and Greece.
Cloudy across western and central Europe as rain spreads across France, the Low Countries, Germany, Austria, Slovenia and Switzerland, turning heavy across Austria and Slovenia. Rain also affecting western Poland Slovakia as well as Croatia.
A northerly wind will bring showers and a chilly feel to northern and central Norway and northern parts of Sweden, while heavier spells of rain affect much of Finland through the day. Cloudy with rain forecast across Denmark and patchy light rain through the Baltic States.
