Showers drift north and east, some thunderstorms

Monday
Fine and hot across Spain and Portugal today. Majorca, Minorca and Ibiza will also be hot with plenty of sunshine. Scattered showers affecting Corsica. Heavy thundery showers across central and southern Italy with scattered showers in the north. Greece and Turkey will be staying hot and sunny throughout the day.
France is going to have a dry day with lots of sunshine. Just a scattering of showers affecting the far north-west. The Low Countries and most of Germany will be dry with good spells of sunshine, although some heavy rain will affect the far east of Germany and the far west of Poland. Dry in eastern Poland. Showers across Hungary and Austria with thunderstorms in Switzerland.
Fair for Denmark with sunny spells and dry weather. Heavy rain affects southern Sweden and central and southern Norway. Isolated showers through the Baltic states with dry weather in Finland. The far north of Norway will be dry and bright.

Tuesday
Hot and sunny for Spain, Portugal and the Balearics. Fine weather too for southern France, Corsica and Sardinia. Local showers for southern Italy, some heavy and thundery bursts in northern Italy and into the Austrian Alps. Afternoon showers also breaking out for mainland Greece and Bulgaria. The Greek islands and Turkey mostly dry.
Some patchy rain for northern France, heavy bursts moving across the Low Countries into northern Germany. Southern Germany generally dry. Showers by afternoon for Switzerland. Western Poland and Czechia staying fine. Patchy rain and showers for eastern Poland and Slovakia into Ukraine.
Areas of rain and thundery bursts for Norway and central-northern Sweden. Drier for southern Sweden. Some rain too for Denmark. Showers for the Baltic states, an odd thundery burst later in southern Finland.
