Mixed across Europe, storms in the Balkans but better Iberia
A fair day for most of Spain and Portugal on Wednesday. There could be some showers affecting the Balearics and the coast of Catalonia however, especially during the late morning and afternoon. Low pressure brings spells of rain to most of central and northern Italy and the Balkans, with some flash flooding possible. This rain extends into western parts of Greece later on in the day. Turkey is dry although breezy with plenty of sunshine.
A fine day in most parts of France, although wind and some light rain affect the southeast.The Low Countries will be wet and windy with heavy spells of rain, extending into western parts of Germany, although the east should remain dry. Some rain will move through Hungary and Slovakia into central and southern Poland later in the day.
Scattered showers and some sunny spells in Denmark. Breezy but warm and fair through the Baltic States and Finland, although some more persistent rain affects central parts of Sweden and Finland. Rather cloudy in western Norway, a few showers here.
A better day for most of Western and Central Europe on Thursday. A dry day for most of Spain, France and Portugal on Thursday.
The Low Countries should stay dry and fair too. Some heavy showers or thunderstorms possible in central and southern Germany, with more persistent rain for most of Austria and Hungary. Another unsettled day in the balkans and eastern and southern Italy with spells of heavy rain continuing for much of the day. A wet day for most of mainland Greece, with the best chance chance of drier weather further east. A generally dry day for eastern Germany and Poland.
A generally dry day across central and southern Scandinavia, with light winds and occasional scattered showers along the coasts. Some showers are possible across central and southern Finland, with more organised rain in northern parts of Sweden and Finland. Rain moves into western and southern Norway later during Thursday evening.
