Dry and fine conditions spread from the west on Monday
Dry across much of the Mediterranean but with some heavy showers affecting the far northeast of Spain. Heavy and thundery showers across Siciliy and the southern tip of Italy. Dry, sunny and warm for the Balkans, Greece and Turkey.
Dry to start across France but showers moving into northern areas through the afternoon. Showers or longer spells of rain also affecting the Low Countries as well as northern Germany and the far north of Poland. South Germany and the rest of Poland will be mainly dry and fine. Showers becoming widespread and heavier over Austria and Switzerland.
Unsettled with showers or longer spells of rain across Scandinavia but also some sunny spells developing. Showers and brisk winds across Denmark as well as through the Baltic States.
Hot, dry and sunny for Portugal and western Spain. Warm for eastern Spain with isolated showers to the north. Heavy, thundery downpours are expected for the Balearic Islands, Corsica and Sardinia. Showers also affect Italy and Siciliy but they are more scattered here and there is plenty of sunshine around. Continuing dry, hot and sunny for Greece and Turkey.
High pressure builds from the west across France, the Low Countries and Germany bringing a dry and fine day here. Early showers over Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland are pushed east as high pressure ridges in here bringing a dry and fine end to the day.
Dry and fine for much of the day for Denmark and Sweden though patchy rain arrives here from the west later. Showers affect Finland and the Baltic States for much of the day but fade into the evening. A rather wet day for much of Norway as fronts bring rain across the country. Wettest to the west.
