Showers for western parts of Europe; these heavy and thundery around the Alps.


Sunday
Scattered showers fo northern and southeastern parts of Spain on Sunday, drier and bright elsewhere across the country and for Portugal. High cloud over the Balearics will give hazy sunshine at times but staying dry here. Thundery outbreaks of rain for Corsica and northern Italy. Bright with the odd isolated shower for Sardinia and southern Italy. Mostly dry, bright and hot for Greece with a few showers in the north. Thundery showers for central-southern parts of Turkey.
A mixture of sunny spells, showers and outbreaks of rain for France, the heaviest showers in the southeast. Rather overcast for the Low Countries and Germany with isolated showers. These heavy for southern parts of Germany. Frequent showers for Switzerland, some of these may be thundery. Generally drier and brighter for Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland.
Breezy with some blustery showers for Denmark. Rain clearing to the east of the Baltic states to leave a bright and dry day here. A band of heavy rain will clear to the north across Finland and central parts of Sweden and Norway leaving a dry, bright day for Finland. Heavy showers will follow for southern parts of Norway and Sweden. Brightening later.

Monday
A mostly bright and dry day for Portugal and Spain though cloud will build from the northwest through the day bringing showers to northwestern Spain later in the day. Isolated showers affecting the Balearic Islands, Corsica, Sardinia and northern parts of Italy. A dry and bright day in the south of the country. Mostly bright and warm for Greece with thundery showers developing through the afternoon in the north. Frequent thundery showers for much of Turkey, drier and bright in the northwest.
Further showers for France on Monday spreading to the north and east into Benelux and Germany. Some of these may be thundery. Heavy rain continuing to affect parts of Switzerland. Scattered showers for western parts of the Czech Republic and Poland, drier and brighter in the east and for Austria and Hungary.
A few showers for eastern parts of Denmark, drier to the west. A mixture of cloudy skies and sunny spells for the Baltic States but staying mostly dry. Showers for northern parts of Norway, Sweden and Finland with some heavier bursts of rain for southeastern Sweden. Dry and mostly bright elsewhere across Scandinavia.
