Hot & sunny in Iberia, thunderstorms central Europe

Hot and sunny for Spain, Portugal and the Balearics. Fine weather too for southern France, Corsica and Sardinia. Local showers, but mostly dry and sunny for southern Italy, some heavy and thundery bursts in northeastern Italy and into the Austrian Alps. Afternoon showers also breaking out for mainland Greece and Bulgaria. The Greek islands and Turkey mostly dry. Cloudy with patchy rain for northern France, thunderstorms moving across the Low Countries into northern Germany. Southern Germany generally dry. Evening showers in Switzerland. Poland and Czechia widely dry and sunny, same for cities along the Danube. Patchy rain and showers for eastern Slovakia and Hungary, western Ukraine and Romania. Areas of rain and thundery bursts for Norway and central-northern Sweden. Drier for southern Sweden. Mostly wet in Denmark. Showers for the Baltic states, an odd thundery burst later in southern Finland.

Sunny and hot for Spain, Portugal, Balearics and other mediterranean islands. Hot with sun and localised thundery showers in Italy, thunderstorms in northeastern Italy. Some thundery showers in the afternoon for Greece, thunderstorms moving across the Balkans. Mostly dry and sunny in Turkey, only some local inland showers. Warm and sunny in France, patchy rain in the Benelux, Germany and in the Alps, fading during the day. Becoming sunny there in the afternoon. Thundery showers across Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary and eastern Austria. Frequent showers also in Romania. Mostly dry and partly sunny in Denmark. Showers in Sweden, these also frequent in Norway. Clouds and rain in western Finland, sunny toward the east. Cloudy and showery in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
