Temperatures continue to exceed 40C for many in western Europe.

Sunday
Staying largely dry and fine across much of southern Europe/the Mediterranean with exceptionally high heat once again across France, Spain and Portugal. One or two showers could pop up across east Italy as well as through northern parts of Greece.
Dry and hot across France and the Low Countries with plenty of strong sunshine. Dry too for Germany though many areas cooler in comparison to the west. Dry across eastern Europe but also relatively cooler. A few showers developing in the Alpine areas.
Largely dry across Sweden and Norway though more cloud cover across western Norway bringing the risk of some patchy rain here. Showery rain through north Finland, drier towards the south. Dry and fine across Denmark and the Baltic States.

Monday
Cloud with the risk of a few heavy and thundery showers could affect north Portugal and northwest Spain. Largely dry and fine elsewhere here and through the Balearic islands. The dry and sunny weather extends right across the Mediterranean, though there is still a risk for one or two local showers to develop across parts of southern Italy.
Dry and very hot conditions still for most counties in western Europe where temperatures still exceed into the 40s for many nations. The dry and sunny weather extending towards eastern countries though comparatively cooler across Poland. There is still the risk of a few thundery showers breaking out across the southern Alpine regions again.
Some heavier spells of rain for a time across south Norway before clearing to drier and brighter weather here. Feeling generally coool here. More cloud further north with frequent showers pushing in. Largely dry across Sweden with the warmest temperatures in the southeast. Finland too largely dry though some showery rain affecting northern areas. Largely dry with sunny spells across Denmark and the Baltic States.
