High pressure maintains dry and fine conditions over much of Europe
Patchy rain continues to affect Portugal and spreads to western and central parts of Spain. Staying dry and sunny to the east and for the Balearic Islands, Corsica and Sardinia. Early rain fades over southern Italy and Sicily to leave a dry and fine day here. Showery outbreaks of rain affect the southern Balkans and Greece and spread to northwest Turkey.
High pressure brings a dry and fine day to much of Europe. Bright conditions for France, the Low Countries, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Bright spells for Poland with the chance of scattered showers here.
Dry and fine but cool for Denmark, southern Norway and southern Sweden. Showers, some wintry, affect northern parts of Norway and Sweden. Showery too for the Baltic States while more persistent outbreaks of rain and sleet affect Finland.
Showery outbreaks of rain spread to all parts of the Iberian Peninsula reaching the Balearic Islands much later in the day. Dry and fine for Italy and the surrounding islands while early rain clears east from Greece to leave a dry and fine end to the day here. Outbreaks of rain continue over northwest Turkey, some very heavy locally, while scattered showers and sunny spells are forecast for central and eastern areas.
Some showers spread into southern France and along the southern edge of the Alps, otherwise it's a dry and fine day for France, Switzerland, Austria and Germany. Dry and fine too for the Low Countries and the Czech Republic. Scattered showers and sunny spells for Poland, Slovakia and Hungary on Sunday.
Cool but mostly dry and fine for Norway, Sweden and Denmark as isolated showers to the north tend to fade through the day. Cool too for Finland and the Baltic States with more persistent outbreaks of rain and sleet here.
