Cold central and northern Europe with some showers, drier in the Mediterranean
Staying dry and fine for Iberia into Tuesday though the far north of Spain could see showery rain developing. Dry and bright for the Balearic Islands, Sardinia, Sicily and southern Italy while a band of rain sweeps through northern and central Italy and Corsica. Rain fades to showers over Greece and western Turkey where it is an increasingly dry and fine day.
A cool but mostly bright day for France, the Low Countries and Germany though frequent wintry showers blow in from the North Sea. Mostly bright too for Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic and Poland but with scattered wintry showers here too. A band of rain, sleet and snow clears east from Hungary and Slovakia to leave a dry end to the day here.
Low pressure stays over Lapland bringing a bright but windy day to much of Scandinavia but with frequent wintry showers. Showers merge to give longer spells of precipitation over western parts of Norway and Finland. Cold here too.
A fair day across Portugal and Spain, although there will be a few showers in eastern and southern areas. Sign through the Balearic Islands as well as Corsica and Sardinia. Most of Italy will be dry with sunshine although there will be rain in the far south. Some showers for western parts of Greece. Turkey should be dry with lots of sunshine.
France is going to be dry with plenty of sunshine. Some showers affecting the low countries and central and northern parts of Germany. Further showers in the west of Poland but dry elsewhere. On settled through Austria and Hungary as well as Poland with periods of rain here.
Call day in Denmark with the scattering of showers. Mostly dry in the Baltic states. Cold with a mix of sunshine and showers for Finland. Mostly dry in Sweden although a few showers in the east. Heaviest snow showers affecting northern and western part of Norway where it will also be cold throughout the day.
