Heavy showers central Europe and eastern and southern Spain

Wednesday
Some showers in eastern and southern Spain on Wednesday. Dry elsewhere over Spain and Portugal with good spells of sunshine. Showery in the Balearic Islands. Corsica and Sardinia should be dry with sunny spells. It is likely to be dry in Italy too although a few showers in the northeast. Greece will be dry with some sunshine. Showers in the north and east of Turkey but dry in the west.
Showers central and northern France, dry and sunny to the south. Showers developing across the Low Countries. Heavy showers and a risk of thunderstorms in Germany. Poland will have some heavy showers or thunderstorms. Hungary is mostly dry, although heavy, thundery showers affecting most of Austria and Switzerland.
Denmark will be dry with sunny periods. The Baltic States will be dry with plenty of sunshine here. More sunshine to come in Finland. Norway should be dry and bright with some sunshine here. Cloud, wind and a few showers in western Norway.

Thursday
Sunny and dry in Spain and Portugal. The Balearics will be dry with more sunshine. Heavy showers and thunderstorms in Corsica and Sardinia as well as the northern half of Italy. Southern Italy will be dry with sunshine. Greece and western Turkey will be dry with sunshine. Eastern areas of Turkey will have some showers.
Showers in central and eastern France but dry and bright in the west. Scattered showers for the Low Countries. Dry and sunny for Germany. Heavy showers and a risk of thunderstorms in Poland. Hungary will be dry with sunny spells. Thunderstorms in Austria and Switzerland.
Fine with lots of sunshine in Denmark. The Baltic States will be dry with lots of sunshine. More sunshine to come in Finland. Sweden will be dry with more sunshine. Cloud and some rain as well as strong winds in western Norway. Southern Norway should be dry with sunny periods.
