Becoming unsettled across Scandinavia

Wednesday
Fair for most of Spain and Portugal on Wednesday. There will be some thunderstorms developing on northern and eastern coasts of Spain, with a few in the Balearics as well. Scattered showers in Corsica and Sardinia. Fine for much of Italy with sunny spells, a chance of an isolated shower in the north. Greece and Turkey should be dry with plenty of sunshine here.
France will have some heavy showers and a risk of thunder in the far south. Most other areas should be dry and sunny, although some showers may affect northwest France. The Low Countries will be dry and sunny, and most of Germany should be dry too, although some showers in the east and south. A risk of some heavy rain affecting parts of Poland, this extending into Hungary. Thundery rain for Austria and Switzerland.
Breezy and cloudy as well as damp in Denmark. Heavier rain in the Baltic States. Finland should be bright and dry with sunny spells. Scattered showers in southern Sweden, fair to the north. Unsettled in Sweden where it will be cool with frequent showers.

Thursday
Heat builds again across Portugal and western regions of Spain as there will be largely dry and sunny conditions. Thundery showers affecting the Balearic islands again today as well as in a few spots across Corsica and Sardinia. Mostly dry across Italy though the odd shower cannot be ruled out. A few scattered, heavy showers across Greece and Turkey but mostly dry and hot.
With high pressure centred in the Bay of Biscay expect France to be dry and fine. Much of Switzerland and Austria should also be dry though showers expected to develop over the Alpine regions here. Mostly dry across Germany and the Low Countries though becoming cloudy, wet and breezy further north. Some rain across north Poland but drier further south. Heavy showers affecting the Balkans.
Unsettled across much of Scandinavia and feeling cool around coasts. Outbreaks of rain affecting parts of Norway and Sweden as well as south Finland, drier further north. Blustery winds across Denmark where some rain will affect southern areas, as well as the Baltics.
