Heavy rain for western Europe

Today
Some rain to come across Portugal. Fine and dry across Spain and across into the Balearics. A few showers will be in the vicinity of Corsica, Sardinia and the far south of Italy otherwise it's a fair, dry day. Apart from the odd shower across Greece, it's another fine, dry day with sunny spells across the Balkans and the Adriatic Region. Lots of sunshine as well across Turkey, The Ukraine, Poland and eastern parts of Germany. Rain clears Britain to showers. An area of heavy rain will affect northern France, The Low Countries, southern parts of Norway, Sweden and also Denmark and western Germany. Very cold and cloudy but dry across Finland.



Tuesday
A wet day with are area of heavy rain across Britain into France, the Low Countries, southern parts of Germany into Austria. Another area of rain is expected across Sweden, Denmark, western Poland and the Baltic States. Heavy snow is forecast across the Alps. Outbreaks rain will affect northern parts of Iberia but for southern parts of Spain and Portugal it stays dry. Lots of fine, settled dry weather extends eastward across the Balearics into Sardinia, Italy and across the Adriatic Region along with the Balkans. Sunny and dry across Turkey into Romania, the Ukraine and eastern parts of Poland. Cold with heavy snow expected to fall across Norway, northern Sweden and Finland. Quite a windy day across much of Europe.
