Mostly dry but cool in northern Europe, more unsettled to the south


Tuesday
Rain affecting the northwest of Spain and western Portugal today. Much of Spain will be dry with lots of sunshine. Staying fair in the Balearics too. Heavy showers in Italy with the risk of some longer periods of rain in Greece. Showers in western Turkey but fair in mid and eastern areas.
A chilly day in France with broken cloud and some sunny spells, best in the west. Scattered showers in the Low Countries and Germany as well as Poland. Rain in more southern areas or Germany and Poland. Outbreaks of rain too through Austria, Hungary and Switzerland.
Breezy with showery outbreaks of rain in southern Denmark. Dry for the Baltic States and Finland with sunny spells here. Dry too for Sweden with sunny spells and remaining mostly dry across Norway too.


Wednesday
Low pressure brings plenty of cloud and periods of rain across Spain and Portugal today. The rain could be heavy at times, especially in the east. Italy should be dry with sunny spells. Scattered showers for Greece abd Turkey, but mostly dry here with sunny spells.
Rain in the southwest of France and breezy here too. The rest of France stays dry with sunny spells and a sharp easterly breeze. The Low Countries and Germany are going to be mostly dry, although some showers in the far southeast and the south of Poland too.
Breezy for Denmark with sunny spells and a few showers, Dry for the Baltic States with sunny spells. Staying dry in Finland with some sunshine. Fair too for Sweden and Norway, although a chilly start.
