Very warm too across much of Spain, although thunderstorms will break out across central & eastern regions. A few thunderstorms for south-western France. The south coast of France and the central Mediterranean stays dry and warm. Fair weather too for much of Italy. A few afternoon showers for mainland Greece , and downpours more widespread for western Turkey, but the Greek islands should escape largely dry.
Northern France and the low countries will see variable cloud and sunny spells. Unsettled for Germany and the Alps, with areas of rain and thunderstorms. Very warm across eastern Europe, into the high 20s Celsius for Poland, Hungary and Romania. Low pressure over Scandinavia brings rain - passing east through the day into the Baltic, followed by showers from the west. Brighter toward the north with a mix of sunshine and showers.

High pressure extends across north-western Europe, whilst low pressure will be over eastern Scandinavia. A long frontal zone influences central-southern Europe. Portugal should be dry and sunny. Hot in southern Spain, into the mid 30s Celsius. Thunderstorms breaking out again for eastern Spain and south-west France. Dry and very warm for Italy, the Balkans and areas toward the Black Sea. Thundery rain for the Alps and central-eastern Europe. Across northern-central Europe, temperatures are generally fresher, in the range 17 to 22C. Partly cloudy for northern France, perhaps a drizzly shower. Dry with sunshine for the Low Countries and much of Germany, also Poland. Blustery winds for southern Scandinavia. Rain on and off for the Baltic states and Finland. Largely dry for southern Norway and Sweden, but a cool northerly breeze brings showers to the far north.
